The Last Thought

I finally thought I was ready. I cautiously climbed out of our little rabbit hole and peered through the dark gloomy night seeing if there was any danger around. There luckily wasn’t so I stepped forward hesitating at each step listening and looking. Then suddenly I felt as if I was being watched. It was like something cold and sharp stabbed me, I knew something wasn’t right so I stopped, lay down and kept quiet as a mouse. It was only then that I knew what was happening. All at once the crafty fox pounced at me, I thought I had enough time to call help but sadly that was the last thought that ever went through my head……..

Drunk Dad

Dad came home from the pub with his mates, they had been drinking again. I could tell because he was laughing for no reason. Mum seemed to be quite anxious with him driving she was arguing with dad but he wouldn’t listen. She told dad that it was dangerous to drive because he had 3 pints of whisky but dad carried on driving, then suddenly dad slammed the brake on , we came across a wooden barrier protecting the sheer cliff of the harbour side. Our car skidded forward and forward and forward until we were tilted on the edge of the harbour……..All I could see was water.

The Pink Bicycle

We were on our way to The Grand Pier when I spotted a gorilla! I couldn’t believe my eyes; I thought that I was dreaming. I tugged on my dad’s arm and I asked him if he could see the gorilla but to my amazement he said no. So I carried on walking then I stopped to do my shoe laces up. It took me quite a while because it was knotted. As soon as I had finished I stood up, I saw the gorilla peering over me, and he then simply said “please may you buy me that pink bicycle?” I laughed and said no apologetically.

To Aanjo
Unfortunately I’ve heard about the typhoon in the Philippians and how it’s affected you and your family. I’m very sorry it happened and you are always welcome to stay at my house while the typhoon’s going on. I hope all of you are well and not injured. As you are the man of the family you need to keep everyone’s spirit up and tell them everything will be alright in the end. I hope the weather is not getting too bad and I hope you will find food and be able to feed your family.
Best wishes Emily.

The Lunch Register

It was time to go; James and Hannah ran to the cloak room, grabbed their bags and sprinted to the mini bus. Just as the bus was about to go mum came yelling “Remember your having a school pack lunch today”.
“Yes mum” they both chorused back. Quickly the bus driver pulled the hand brake not wanting another disturbance. Eventually they arrived at school; they sat down at their desk waiting quietly for the register to be taken. At last it came to Hannah, “Please Miss may I have a school pack lunch”.
Yes off course Hannah.
