Dennis’s Grandparents

Dennis went to his grandparents house one day with his mum and dad. When they arrived Dennis’s mum and dad were offered a cup of tea to let them relax. Dennis was allowed to look around the house as he was bored so he did. He went round the whole house until he found a jar that had something shining inside. He didn’t look but he came rushing to everyone to come through. His mum was the bravest BUT WHEN SHE LIFTED THE LID she found the crown jewels. “Haa, granny,” gasped mum.“Can I call you gangsta granny,” said Dennis quietly.Everyone laughed! “Ha ha.”

The Fairground

One beautiful summers day in August we went to the Fun Fair, it was situated on the seafront at Paignton. There were lots and lots of rides and fun things to do, from the Dodgem’s to the  Roller coaster to the Ghost Train to the side stalls, they had it all. One particular attraction caught my eye, it was the Tombola, I paid my one pound to the attendant, hoping to win a prize, but when she lifted the lid for me to pick my ticket, to my horror their was nothing inside, we both looked at each other, “where are all the tickets she screamed”

Death at the Zoo

Chloe and Sid were traipsing through the deserted,abandoned zoo, they had been expecting a tiger. They kept walking as Sid’s torch flickered and then went out. They could sense they were getting close, very close. Then they approached the rotten box they knew they had to be careful otherwise it’s result could be death.  Chloe touched the box …but when she lifted the lid… a  sun ray orange tiger  jumped out right in front of them and then they ran knowing it was no good as the  terrifying tiger approached the now motionless Chloe and Sid and were left  in a heap dead, dead on the floor.
