Unfortunately I’ve heard about the typhoon in the Philippians and how it’s affected you and your family. I’m very sorry it happened and you are always welcome to stay at my house while the typhoon’s going on. I hope all of you are well and not injured. As you are the man of the family you need to keep everyone’s spirit up and tell them everything will be alright in the end. I hope the weather is not getting too bad and I hope you will find food and be able to feed your family.
Best wishes Emily.

A letter

To all the people who are affected by the typhoon in the Philippines,I feel really sorry for you that your homes have been destroyed and many lives have been lost. Have any close members of your family died? Has it affected you badly? Are you alright?I can’t imagine the typhoon happening here where I live. It must be terrifying that your home has been lost which is where you grew up. I bet you are glad it is over now but you must be very upset.

Dear Survivor

Dear Survivor,
I am sorry to hear about the awful typhoon that hit your homeland recently. I am sorry for your loss and that your house was destroyed in the storm. Are you living in a tent and who is looking after you?
Please know that we’re doing everything we can to help and our school is raising money to help rebuild your houses and give you food and water. Our aircraft carrier should have arrived by now and they will help you with supplies and rebuilding. I hope things get much better for you and you are safe.
Ben

Dear Alex

Dear Alex

I am shocked at the outcome of the awful typhoon that hit your precious homeland. I feel devastated at this event as everything seemed fine before, until the storm hit. I understand that you must be feeling terrible and heartbroken as your closest siblings, not to mention your home, have sadly passed away. But don’t you worry survivor! Help is on the way, as many rescue vehicles are heading your way! But don’t worry, not in a bad way, they will feed you and give you shelter until you’re back on your feet.

Wishing you well!
From Marcus

Dear Joe

Dear Joe,
I am sorry to find you caught up in the hurricane.
I hope to see you safe and soon,
From Alfie.

Dear Joe,
The devastation caused by the wake of the hurricane is outstanding! The land looks like a nuclear wasteland (Without the radiation) and the house looks like one of those ramshackle mountain shacks, with the roof torn off!
Will I ever see you again?
From Alfie.

Dear Joe,
You’re coming back in a week?
YAY!
I can’t wait to see you.
From Alfie.

Dear diary,
Has Joe really died?
No, I can’t believe it!
…!?
